South was rescued from the streets of South Memphis after what started as an effort to save a puppy turned into rescuing three adult dogs, too. He arrived with injuries common to dogs surviving on their own, including damage to one of his front paw pads and old ear injuries. Despite his rough start, South has never stopped wanting to connect with people.

South is a sweet, social boy who has steadily learned to trust the people caring for him. Once he feels safe, his affectionate and gentle personality shines through. He enjoys companionship, seeks out attention, and simply wants a person to call his own.

South is available through Team Memphis Rescue and his adoption fee is $350.  He comes fully vetted, neutered, and of course FREE lifetime training assistance.
