Hey everyone, what a beautiful week we had... for the most part. Me, Dexter, and his buddies, Delaney and Devin, spent a lot of time out in the dog yard. They were loving it. They got their NASCAR and their WWE in. As soon as one would lay down to take a break, one of them would come over and not let them. It was insane; we were like, "They have to run out of gas sooner or later". They didn't. They all enjoyed good naps afterwards though. Then the rain and cold came back, and the mud too. Let me tell you, thunderstorms do not bother Dexter, and there is not a puddle nor mud pit that he does not enjoy running through. He spent more time on our wash station this week than any other dog I've had. It's a good thing he doesn't mind it. If there is a puddle around, he will get the zoomies and run through it on or off leash. I bet he would do great in a creek or pool.

Hey everyone, Dexter learned how to get a bath this week without having to be secured on the table. He stood there and took it like a Champ. Believe me, after him and Delaney played a combination of NASCAR and WWE in our soaking wet mud plagued dog yard for about a half hour, they both needed it. He was almost unrecognizable, but they had the time of their young lives. Unfortunately, we didn't do a whole lot of training this week because I caught the bug that is running rampant in here. He was so good for me though when I wasn't feeling well, so I made it up to him today and just let him rock out and play and just be a dog. He's been doing so good with his training anyway. We'll get back to school next week. See you then.

This week Hi ya'll. Sexy Dexy has had another great week. I am proud to say that he passed his Level 1 obedience with flying colors. Soon we will test for his Level 2. Besides training, he spent a lot of time playing with Delaney or his Wubba. That's his FAVORITE toy made by Kong. He also spent a good bit of time playing with Wyatt and helping him to come out of his shell. It's funny when he plays with Delaney and she goes to the floor and gives up her belly. He will sit directly on her head. That's all fine and dandy until she grabs a hold of his ear and he gets up real real quick! Then he goes on his back and she jumps on top of him. They will play forever if you let them. When I tell him to take a break he will lay down and wait for round whatever to begin. He is such a cool pup. Yes, he still acts like a puppy sometimes, but we are working on it and he is getting better by leaps and bounds. See you all next week.

Another great week, Dexter has had an amazing week. He is doing great and has passed his Level one obedience this week. He's ready to start Level 2. He has become best friends with Delaney and loves playing with her almost non-stop. He is still a quiet dog and rarely barks unless someone else starts barking first then he joins in for a minute or two then stops. He rarely jumps on someone, he prefers to just come up and sit by someone. He also enjoys just sitting in the cell and watch out at the screen. He's still a big sweetheart and loves to cuddle and play. Right now he is laying at my feet as I am write this. He has found a home and I'm very happy for him and his new family. I'm sure they will love him as much as I do.

In his first week, Dexter is already proving to be one of the smartest dogs his handler has worked with. He is very food-motivated and a "biggest sweetheart" who loves meeting everyone. He is a "goof ball" who jumps in circles when playing with his best bud, Charlie. Ruby is helping him learn boundaries, and he is already ready to test for Level 1 Obedience. He is not destructive, rarely barks, and his favorite thing is to cuddle on a lap.
